‘The desire to create is one of the biggest yearnings of the human soul.’ – D. F. Uchtdorf
As a kid I would always marvel at the creations of the artists. How beautifully they would capture and tell a story on a canvas and paint it with their imagination. It seemed so surreal and out of this world. Though the fascination is still well and alive, I found my calling in crafting.
What started out as a hobby for me, Crafting is now a world I live in. A world embellished and dazzling with ribbons and cardstocks, crayons and washi tapes, paper crafting and scrollwork and of junks turned into a pretty handicraft.
‘What you create, doesn’t have to be perfect.’ – D. F. Uchtdorf rightly says so and so does Dorothy Parker, ‘Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye.‘
This blog post is a shoutout to all the crafters and artists out there. I believe it takes a lot of courage to reveal a creation to the world.
Let’s create some and invent some. Let’s experiment and make some mistakes along the way and Learn in the process. Let’s take some risks and break some rules in between. But most of all – let us have lots and lots of fun….
In the words of Albert Einstein –
‘Creativity is contagious, pass it on’
– Happy Crafting.
